Iffeisha Gordon-Toppin is the Director, Licensed Counsellor and Educator of Transformative Mind Health and Wellness. Her areas of focus include supporting children, youth, individuals, and couples with relationship conflicts, specialising in expressive therapies, relational trauma, Buddhist awareness and the integration of mind awareness and mindfulness practices into everyday life.

 

Iffeisha is an avid mental health advocate for all, bust especially for women and BIPOC. Her career and experience span all levels of the education system from teacher to administrator, entrepreneur, counselling, yoga and meditation, children dharma teacher, health and wellness retreat lead/space holder, life coaching and Holder of a number of Ancestral Rites.

 

Iffeisha entered private practice to help meet the needs of children, youth individuals, couples, and families in the community. She has blended findings from research in the field of psychology, education and Buddhist teachings and practices with her more than twenty years’ experience working with people and clients in a variety of settings. 

In addition to her work with individuals, couples, and families, Iffeisha also consults with agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities as well as Educational Leadership.

Iffeisha earned her master’s degree from The Loyola University of Maryland and completed graduate programs at Notre Dame of Maryland and Loyola University of Maryland Universities as well as certification from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.
